Disclaimer
Even though many customers report an immediate freedom from pain, it may take a while ridding your tennis elbow / golfer’s elbow completely and of course it is also possible that the Masalo Cuff may not have the desired effect in your personal case. An epicondylitis is a serious medical issue and medical matters are always individual. The healing progress is dependant on many factors and differs for each patient. Therefore and for legal reasons we cannot and will not provide a healing guaranty. Some reviews have been translated from German.

Super fast relief from pain
Three days ago I got the Masalo cuff at Sanitätshaus Medicus in Niestetal and I am thrilled!
I’ve never written a testimonial anywhere, but I must do so here. I was able to lift my jacket again after two minutes with the cuff – before that, a pencil was already too heavy. And I can sleep pain-free now, even if it is a bit uncomfortable with the cuff. But it’s worth it.
I’m already looking forward to the further healing process – after 6 weeks of painless standstill (i.e. before anyone recommended this cuff to me), it’s great to feel my arm getting better every day.

Hello Mrs Hartmann, thank you very much for your feedback. It should be exactly as you write 🙂 You now have the best conditions for getting rid of your epicondylitis. Just please be patient. It will take longer until you are pain-free without a bandage and can put full weight on your arm again without a cuff. The cuff relieves the tendons, so you can put weight on the arm with the bandage again, but it will still take time to heal. When sleeping, loosen the cuff a little, circulation problems must not occur. Tendon and ligament injuries always take at least 6 weeks to heal, but tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow can take 3-6 months or longer, although golfer’s elbow is always the more persistent. Should anything be the matter, please feel free to contact us at any time. I also recommend our tips for dealing with epicondylitis on our website. This will help you get better faster and avoid further injuries 🙂 We wish you a continued good recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder
The best invention for tennis elbows
This product is worth every penny, that’s all there is to it👍
You wouldn't believe it, super relief!
I put the cuff on immediately after receiving it according to the instructions. It was actually easier than I thought.
I moved it around a few times and it was perfect for me. I immediately felt relief and felt like I was in 7th heaven without pain.
Anyone who knows this pain understands that.
I also wore the cuff for the first night. It works wonderfully because it is very comfortable to wear.
It doesn’t pinch, it doesn’t squeeze like these conventional bandages.
The cuff is definitely worth the money, thanks to the inventor!

Hello Mrs Scherf, thank you very much for your report. That’s how it should be 🙂 But the relief is not immediate for everyone, but you must always at least feel that the support works and relieves pain. In many cases, the pain is relieved, but not for everyone. If you now wear the brace consistently and perhaps also follow our tips for dealing with epicondylitis on our website, you will very soon have overcome the problem. We sincerely wish you a continued good recovery and if there is anything wrong, please do not hesitate to contact us. Kind regards Harry Röder
Can play golf again after two years of pain - I am thrilled!
I started playing golf in 2018. Unfortunately, it was over after 3 months because I got a really painful tennis elbow.
I couldn’t even hold a coffee cup anymore.
For the next two years, I went through absolutely all the therapies that are recommended for tennis elbow. Some brought some relief, some none at all. Physiotherapy and fascia therapy were helpful. The rest was pretty useless.
I was desperate and no longer believed that I would ever be able to play golf again.
Then, at the beginning of 2020, my husband found the Masalo cuff by chance on the net. I ordered one and after about 6 weeks my arm was free of pain to the extent that I dared to cautiously play 2-3 holes of golf.
As the season went on, it got better and better and in the autumn I was able to play a whole course once a week.
I am now wearing this cuff for the second season and could play 18 holes twice a week if I had that much time. However, I know that without the cuff the pain would soon return.
The cuff is certainly not very comfortable at first, but I soon got used to it. It is important to put it on properly and tightly, otherwise it cannot work. I can really only recommend the Masalo cuff.

Hello Mrs. Reischer, thank you very much for your beautiful experience report. You have done everything right and I very much hope that many will read your report. Especially the last paragraph is extremely important, because it is not uncommon that wearing the cuff too timidly is responsible for it taking too long, because simply too little effect is produced. Of course, at the beginning the cuff is perceived as a foreign body and perhaps not very comfortable, but as you wrote, this will pass with time and after a certain point you even like the feeling, precisely because it helps. But it is a bandage with a special effect and you have to get used to that 🙂 It is really very good that you also wear the support prophylactically, so you directly prevent the epicondylitis from coming back. But even if you forget the bandage and it starts to hurt again, just put it back on in the evening and leave it on, and it should get better within 1-2 days. We hope you continue to enjoy your golf and wish you a good game 🙂 Kind regards Harry Röder
Stay patient & carry Masalo
An absolutely top product, many thanks to the developers! I never write reviews, but here I think it is enormously important to share my experience. Because I know how painful, discouraging and long-lasting tennis elbow is.
I contracted tennis elbow in May 2021. After diagnosis and consultation with several orthopaedic surgeons, I have undergone the following therapies – with no perceptible success:
Medi compression sleeve (approx. 4 weeks during the day), stretching exercises (2x daily a 2 min. min.) , ultrasound therapy (10 sessions a 15 min), cooling (as often as possible in the office routine), ibuprofen cure (10 days each 3x daily 600s), quark wrap (2 weeks every evening 30 minutes), electro TENS therapy (3 weeks 2-3x daily 30 minutes), fascia massage (every second evening 20-30 movements over trigger points).
Despite all the therapy attempts, after 3 months the pain was much stronger than in the acute phase at the beginning of the injury, especially at night.
As I wanted to remain active in sports and not aimlessly give up windsurfing for months, I got the Masalo cuff. No orthopaedist knew about the product or could prescribe it. The Techniker Krankenkasse did not cover the product either.
I then wore the cuff consistently during the day for 6 weeks. I did not do any other exercises during the first 6 weeks, only a very light massage of the forearm after taking off the cuff in the evening. It is really important that the tendon is relieved and comes to rest, I would like to emphasise that. I also didn’t do any sports/windsurfing during the rest phase.
It was only from the 7th week that I started mobilising and strengthening with very careful stretching exercises WITHOUT pain. In my experience, it is super important to be careful here and not to stretch into pain. In the ongoing weeks, I added longer pain-free stretches (over 2 minutes) and common strength exercises. From the 9th week onwards, I no longer wore the cuff in everyday life.
An important point that is rarely or never addressed from an orthopaedic point of view is nutrition. I consciously made sure to avoid inflammation-promoting foods like alcohol or meat, fats and processed products. Alcohol and meat are poison for inflammation in the body.
Apart from an occasional twinge, I am now – November 2021 – pain-free in everyday life. When I do sports, I specifically prevent new irritations with stretching exercises and massage before and after sports.
At night, I still notice the tennis elbow from time to time.
To be fair, you also have to look at cause and effect here:
Of course, it is impossible to say to what extent the healing process would have been as successful if I had not used the cuff.
However, I am convinced that the targeted relief of the tendon has made an enormous contribution to the healing process.

Hello Mr Turck, thank you very much for this great experience report. I am sure it will help many customers. First of all, I would like to briefly discuss the rejections by the doctor and the insurance company. Our Masalo® Cuff MED is registered in the German register of medical aids under the aid number 23.08.04.0042. This means that prescriptions can be issued and that the health insurance companies have to cover at least part of the costs. After all, you are insured and pay your contributions. However, it may be that prescriptions for other epi bandages have already been submitted and that the quota of such prescriptions has therefore been exhausted. Otherwise, your report contains very good tips on the subject of nutrition and massages, for example. I also think it’s very good that you don’t use and recommend the stretching exercises unconditionally, but approach them with due caution. Otherwise it can really have disadvantages and make the problem much worse. But the way you do it is OK. We are really pleased that you have almost completely overcome your epicondylitis. However, I recommend that you wear the cuff – even a little looser – for a few nights while you sleep. What you describe happens more often. On average, you turn over 30 to 80 times during the night. You may also support yourself with your arm, or pull up the covers, etc. This can put strain on the tendons and cause them to slacken. This can put strain on the tendons and “rip” micro-tears again. This can lead to pain. You have to understand that these are really microscopic injuries to the tendons, which can also rupture again under unfavourable stress, without protection. Perhaps you should try applying the cuff overnight. I wish you a continued good recovery and thank you again for your report and the time. Best regards Harry Röder
